The final week of the regular season is here! The 2023 NFL regular season winds down after this week with two possible AFC East teams heading to the playoffs and two performing locker cleanouts.
The final week of the season sees divisional games played for divisional crowns and playoff spots which is what we have when the Buffalo Bills play the Miami Dolphins. The other contest is the New England Patriots playing the New York Jets to close out their seasons and determine their final draft position.

New England Patriots
OUT
OT Trent Brown (Illness)
Brown was a healthy scratch last week but was on the injury report last week due to illness along with his ankle and hand injury. He will not play this week due to illness.
TE Hunter Henry (Left Knee)
Henry has missed the last two games due to a left knee MCL sprain suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs. He will miss the final game of the regular season and see his season end.
QUESTIONABLE
DB Myles Bryant (Illness)
Bryant missed Wednesday’s practice due to illness but remained limited for the rest of the week.
DL Christian Barmore (Knee)
Barmore has been on the injury report since Week 3 due to a knee injury that dates back to 2021. He also dealt with a shoulder injury but this is more of a maintenance issue.
TE Pharaoh Brown (Ribs)
Brown suffered a rib injury playing against the Buffalo Bills last week, limiting his snaps to 68 percent of offensive snaps and 48 percent of special teams snaps. Considering Hunter Henry is ruled out, I would expect Brown to play.
LB Anfernee Jennings (Knee)
Jennings has been dealing with a knee injury dating back to last week.
CB Jonathan Jones (Knee)
Jones has been working through a knee injury dating back to Week 7 and has played through the injury since then.
WR DeVante Parker (Ribs)
Parker had to briefly leave the game on Sunday after taking a shot to his ribs against the Buffalo Bills. He was limited all week and maybe a true questionable designation.
S Jabrill Peppers (Hamstring)
Peppers has missed the last three games due to a hamstring strain suffered against Kansas City in Week 15. He came out Thursday and stated that he would play Sunday.
WR Matthew Slater (Hamstring)
Slater suffered the hamstring strain back in Week 15 and missed the following week. He returned to play for Week 17 and I would expect him to play Sunday.
LB Jahlani Tavai (Tooth)
Tavai briefly had to leave Sunday’s game due to a tooth injury but was able to practice all week, likely requiring some dental work.
CB Shaun Wade (Hip)
Wade originally suffered his hip injury in Week 16 but has continued to play through the injury.
WR Tyquan Thornton (Ankle)
Thornton was a late addition to the injury report Friday with an ankle designation, potentially suffered in practice.
S Jalen Mills (Ankle)
Mills was added to the injury report Friday with an ankle designation and is officially questionable.
New York Jets
OUT
OL Jacob Hansen (Concussion)
Hansen suffered a concussion in the first half of the loss to the Cleveland Browns and will miss Week 18, ending his season.
TE Jeremy Ruckert (Concussion)
Ruckert suffered a concussion in Week 16 and will now miss his second consecutive game, ending his season.
QB Zach Wilson (Concussion)
Wilson will miss his third consecutive game after suffering a concussion in Week 15.
QB Aaron Rodgers (Left Achilles)
Rodgers continues to practice after he was activated from injured reserve following his left Achilles tear but will not play.
DOUBTFUL
OL Wes Schweitzer (Calf)
Schweitzer was designated to return from injured reserve after missing the last four games due to a calf injury that limited him to six games total this season.
ACTIVE
RB Israel Abanikanda (Ankle)
Abanikanda has been working through an ankle injury dating back to Week 15 and has been playing through the injury as a backup behind Breece Hall.
DL John Franklin-Myers (Ankle)
Franklin-Myers has been on and off the injury report for this ankle dating back to Week 15. He has also been working through groin and hip injuries but the ankle has been the more persistent issue.
WR Allen Lazard (Illness)
Lazard missed last week due to an illness that kept him out of last Thursday’s game.
