Miami Dolphins

DOUBTFUL

S Jevon Holland (Left Hand)

Holland reportedly broke a bone in his left hand in the Week 5 win over the Dolphins. He has since been seen with a cast on the area and is going to attempt to play even with his doubtful designation.

If he does play, this will be very similar to how Jordan Poyer did in the preseason when he suffered his broken hand, wearing a protective covering on the area. Outside of securing interceptions, this injury should not greatly impact his ability to play in coverage once he does return. However, many players who break their hand usually require two weeks before returning and Holland may need one more week.

QUESTIONABLE

LB David Long (Knee)

Long suffered a knee injury at some point during the Week 5 win over the New England Patriots. He only played in 50 percent of defensive snaps that game along with some special teams work. He was able to practice this week but has a questionable designation.

WR Odell Beckham Jr (Hamstring/Personal)

Beckham did not practice as he dealt with a hamstring and personal issue on Friday.

OT Austin Jackson (Back)

Jackson is dealing with a back injury suffered on Friday.

LS Blake Ferguson (Personal)

Ferguson missed a portion of practice Friday with a personal issue and is questionable. His status will be known if the team has to sign a long snapper to the practice squad. They also have someone on the team that can be the emergency backup but it’s unclear who that is.

LB Emmanuel Ogbah (Bicep)

Ogbah is working through a biceps injury that he appeared to suffer in the Week 5 win over the Patriots. Even with the bye, the injury still appears to be bothering him but he was able to practice all week.

QB Skylar Thompson (Ribs)

Thomson is still recovering from his rib injury dating back in Week 3.

ACTIVE

LB Mohamed Kamara (Ankle)

Kamara was a new addition to the injury report this week coming off the bye and has no designation.

OT Kendall Lamm (Elbow)

Lamm picked up an elbow injury during Thursday’s practice that limited his workload on Thursday but returned in full on Friday.

RB De’Von Achane (Concussion)

Achane left the Week 5 contest with a head injury and eventually was downgraded to out with a concussion diagnosis. It’s not clear how long it took him to clear concussion protocol but he was able to practice in full the Wednesday following the bye indicating he is ready to go for Week 7.

CB Cam Smith (Hamstring)

S Jordan Poyer (Shin)

Smith continues to practice during his IR designated to return windows and needs to be activated in order to play. Poyer missed Week 5 after suffering a shin injury colliding with Jaelan Phillips in Week 4.

New England Patriots

OUT

OT Vederian Lowe (Ankle)

Lowe continues to battle injuries dating back to the preseason including an oblique during training camp, a right knee injury in Week 2, and now an ankle injury.

He was ruled out on Thursday ahead of Sunday’s game.

QUESTIONABLE

RB Rhamondre Stevenson (Foot)

Stevenson missed last week’s contest due to a foot injury suffered in Week 5. He was unable to practice Wednesday and Thursday but got some work in on Friday.

On Friday, he stated that he felt good enough to play, though it is not clear the severity of the foot injury. Despite practicing in full, he is still questionable. Given the London experience and missing the game last week, it looks as though he may play.

WR Javon Baker (Illness)

Baker came down with an illness on Friday and is officially questionable.

LB Curtis Jacobs (Knee)

CB Jonathan Jones (Shoulder)

G Michael Jordan (Ankle)

LB Sione Takitaki (Knee)

CB Marco Wilson (Groin)

Jacobs was added to the injury report Thursday with a knee designation, limited Thursday and Friday. Jones, Jordan, Takitaki, Wilson all played last week.

ACTIVE

CB Marcus Jones (Groin/Illness)

CB Isaiah Bolden (Hamstring)

S Kyle Dugger (Ankle)

DT Davon Godchaux (Elbow)

WR Kendrick Bourne (Right Knee)

LS Joe Cardona (Calf)

LB Anfernee Jennings (Shoulder)

WR KJ Osborn (Shoulder)

Many of these injuries have been lingering for several weeks now with many players missing only 1-2 games. Last week, Joe Cardona missed due to a late week calf injury and they signed Tucker Addington to the practice squad and elevated him.

Osborn and Dugger missed the previous week and nearly everyone else has been playing through their respective injuries. Otherwise, nearly all of these injuries are maintenance things and have no new information.

S Marte Mapu (Neck)

Mapu left Sunday’s game sometime in the first half with a neck designation. He was able to return to full practice on Thursday and Friday without a designation.

QB Drake Maye (Knee)

Phoning in a friend, Dr. David Chao noted that Maye was limping at practice and had some swelling in the right knee. Maye has undergone an MRI to determine his exact injury.

However, Maye was able to return to practice on Thursday not limping or wearing any braces/sleeves in the area. He has no designation but an injury worth monitoring.

New York Jets

OUT

CB Michael Carter II (Back)

Carter did miss the game after suffering a back/hamstring injury in Week 5 against the Minnesota Vikings and was unable to practice again this week, ruled out.

QUESTIONABLE

TE Tyler Conklin (Right Hip)

Conklin is once again questionable after suffering a right hip pointer in Week 5, playing in Week 6.

CB DJ Reed (Groin)

Reed suffered a groin injury during the second half of Monday’s loss to the Buffalo Bills in Week 6. He was unable to practice all week and given his positional demands, despite his questionable status, I’m not certain he would be effective if he tries to play.

LB Chazz Surratt (Heel)

Surrat played in 13 special teams snaps on Monday and practiced in full on Thursday and Friday. I do expect him to play.

ACTIVE

DE Will McDonald (Shoulder)

There is minimal information on the specifics of McDonald’s injury as he did not have an in-game designation during the Week 6 loss to the Bills.

WR Davante Adams (Hamstring)

Adams appears on track to play after missing the last three games with a hamstring strain when he was with the Las Vegas Raiders. Whether this was a true injury or not as he was trying to get traded, he appears healthy enough to make his Jets debut.

OL Morgan Moses (Left Knee)

QB Aaron Rodgers (Left Ankle)

None of the injuries changed for any of these players following the Week 6 loss to the Buffalo Bills and they have no designation for Week 7.
