Miami Dolphins | New York Jets | New England Patriots | Buffalo Bills

Miami Dolphins

OUT

CB Kader Kohou (Neck)

Kohou will miss the first game of the season with a neck injury after playing in on his normal number of snaps on Sunday. He was unable to practice all week.

DT Zach Seiler (Eye)

Seiler had an unfortunate injury occur on Thursday when he was poked in the eye causing an orbital or blowout fracture. He is officially week-to-week without an established timeline.

Looking at the available research, there is an older article from 2001 that explains the injury and timeline given for return to play. The average missed time is 25 days but can be anywhere from 5 to 56 days according to the study participants. Watching what the Dolphins do roster wise will shed light on the timeline. Without additional information, it’s hard to pinpoint a return timeline.

DOUBTFUL

CB Storm Duck (Ankle)

Duck saw all of his snaps on Sunday on special teams with one solo tackle before leaving. While he is officially doubtful, I would not expect him to play.

QUESTIONABLE

QB Tua Tagovailoa (Concussion)

Tagovailoa needs to be officially cleared by the independent neurologist in order to be cleared to play on Sunday. He appears on track to play for the first time since Week 2.

WR Tyreek Hill (Foot)

Hill suffered a foot injury on Thursday and was unable to practice on Friday. The specifics of the foot injury are not known but the team may way to see how the foot feels on Sunday to determine whether to play him.

ACTIVE

OL Liam Eichenberg (Shoulders)

S Jevon Holland (Left Hand)

LB Emmanuel Ogbah (Bicep)

WR Jaylen Waddle (Quad)

Holland and Ogbah missed last week with their respective injuries. Holland is still recovering from his broken left hand suffered in Week 5 and he has now been cleared for contact. Both Eichenberg and Waddle were limited Wednesday and Thursday before getting full practices in on Friday.

INJURED RESERVE

QB Tyler Huntley (Right Shoulder)

Huntley moved to injured reserve after suffering an AC sprain in his throwing shoulder.

WR Braxton Berrios (Torn ACL)

New York Jets

OUT

S Ashtyn Davis (Concussion)

Davis suffered a head injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was unable to practice all week and needs to clear protocol before he can be cleared to return.

OL Alijah Vera-Tucker (Ankle)

AVT suffered his ankle injury in the second quarter and was unable to finish the game.

DL Leki Fotu (Knee)

Fotu was unable to practice all week and was ruled out.

DOUBTFUL

S Tony Adams (Hamstring)

WR Allen Lazard (Chest)

Adams and Lazard were unable to practice all week and are officially doubtful.

QUESTIONABLE

OL Morgan Moses (Knee)

ACTIVE

LB Quincey Williams (Neck)

Every player listed above has a new injury coming out of the Week 7 game versus the Steelers. Adams suffered his injury in the first half and did not come out for the second half.

Williams was limited Wednesday before getting full practices on Thursday and Friday.

CB Michael Carter (Back)

Carter has missed the last two games after exiting a Week 5 with a hamstring injury in London and dealing with a back injury but has no designation.

DL Will McDonald (Shoulder)

QB Aaron Rodgers (Left Knee/Hamstring)

TE Tyler Conklin (Right Hip)

CB DJ Reed (Groin)

LB Chazz Surratt (Heel)

Of the group above, Reed missed last week after suffering a groin injury against the Bills in Week 6.

INJURED RESERVE

TE Kenny Yeboah (Abdomen)

Yeboah has opened his practice window but has not yet been activated.

New England Patriots

OUT

WR Ja’Lynn Polk (Concussion)

Polk suffered a concussion in the fourth quarter of the loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars game in London. He was unable to practice all week and has been ruled out ahead of Week 8.

G Layden Robinson (Ankle)

Robinson left in the first quarter after injuring his right ankle and was unable to return. He was ruled out later at halftime but had been battling this ankle injury dating back to Week 4.

QUESTIONABLE

DT Daniel Ekuale (Abdomen)

CB Jonathan Jones (Shoulder)

G Michael Jordan (Ankle)

LB Raekwon McMillian (Back)

OL Sidy Sow (Illness)

Ekuale and McMillian both appeared on the injury report with their respective injuries with Ekuale not able to practice on Friday and McMillian limited.

LB Sione Takitaki (Knee)

Takitaki continues to work through his offseason knee surgery that kept him out of training camp and forced him to miss last week.

DE Keion White (Knee)

White picked up a knee injury against the Jaguars in Week 7 and did not practice on Wednesday. He returned to practice on Thursday and appears ready to play on Sunday.

OT Vederian Lowe (Ankle)

Lowe is still working through an ankle injury sustained in Week 6, causing him to miss Week 7. He has been on the injury report for just about every week and at this point, probably should go on injured reserve to get fully healthy. Given the offensive line depth issues, he is forced to stay on the roster and get healthy enough to get out there and be a body every week.

S Kyle Dugger (Ankle)

ACTIVE

S Marte Mapu (Neck)

WR Kendrick Bourne (Right ACL)

QB Drake Maye (Right Knee)

RB Rhamondre Stevenson (Foot)

LB Curtis Jacobs (Knee/Illness)

LB Anfernee Jennings (Shoulder/Knee)

All of these injuries continue to linger after several weeks with no real change in the players status. Maye was removed from the injury report on Thursday indicating his knee is not an issue. Jacobs is dealing with an illness, Jennings added a knee injury to his weekly shoulder injury.
