New York Jets

OUT

S Tony Adams (Hamstring)

Adams was unable to practice all last week and missed the Week 8 contest against the New England Patriots. He remained out all this week on the short week and was ruled out.

S Ashtyn Davis (Concussion)

Davis suffered a concussion in Week 7 and missed last week’s game versus the Patriots. In the short week, he could not get any practice reps in, missing his second straight game.

DL Leki Fotu (Knee)

Fotu suffered a knee injury in Week 7 and was unable to practice all last week and this week, missing his second consecutive game.

WR Allen Lazard (Chest)

Lazard suffered a chest injury in Week 7, missing last week.

LB CJ Mosley (Neck)

Mosley has been working back from a toe injury that cost him three games before returning in a reserve role the last two weeks. Jamien Sherwood has been seeing the majority of snaps in the meantime.

On Sunday during pregame warmups, Mosley suffered a neck injury that saw him be active but not play in any snaps. He is seeing specialists for this injury, indicating there is more to this than just a garden variety strain.

OL Alijah Vera-Tucker (Ankle)

AVT suffered an ankle injury in Week 7 that saw him appear in just 46 percent of snaps. He missed last week.

QUESTIONABLE

LB Chazz Surrat (Heel)

Surrat has been battling a heel injury dating back to Week 6 against the Buffalo Bills but has not missed any time.

OL Morgan Moses (Left Knee)

Moses continues to require regular rehab on his left knee MCL sprain originally suffered in Week 3.

ACTIVE

CB Michael Carter (Back)

Carter made his return after missing two games after suffering a back injury against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 5. He played in 55 percent of defensive snaps.

OL Jake Hanson (Thumb)

Hanson was limited on Monday after suffering a thumb injury on Sunday but increased his workload to full on Tuesday and Wednesday with no designation.

DL Will McDonald (Shoulder)

McDonald continues to work through a shoulder injury dating back to the Bills game in Week 6, not missing any games.

QB Aaron Rodgers (Left Knee/Hamstring)

Rodgers is still working through the left knee injury and hamstring strain dating back to at least Week 5 against the Vikings.

DL Haason Reddick (Neck)

Reddick picked up a neck injury in his first game following his holdout. The team generalized the injury as more soreness after not playing for a while and they are not concerned about the injury.

DT Quinnen Williams (Ankle)

Williams picked up an ankle injury in the loss to the Patriots but practiced in full on Tuesday and Wednesday.

LB Jamien Sherwood (Shoulder)

Sherwood suffered a shoulder injury taking the majority of snaps while CJ Mosley is dealing with his various injuries.

INJURED RESERVE

TE Kenny Yeboah (Abdomen)

Yeboah continues to participate during his practice window open after suffering the injury during the final preseason game. He will need to be activated to play.

K Greg Zuerlein (Left Knee)

Zuerlein appeared on the injury report on Tuesday with an injury to his non-kicking leg. While he is still the incumbent kicker, the Jets have brought in several kickers for competition as Zuerlein has been generally unreliable this season. On Wednesday, the Jets placed Zuerlein on injured reserve and will activate either Spencer Shrader or Riley Patterson for Thursday.

New England Patriots

QUESTIONABLE

DT Jaquelin Roy (Neck)

Roy appeared in a season-high 48 percent of snaps on Sunday and was unable to practice on Wednesday. He was upgraded to limited Thursday and Friday but still questionable.

LB Christian Elliss (Abdomen)

Elliss appeared in a season-high 84 percent of defensive snaps after transitioning more to the defense over the last two weeks. This comes after seeing most of his playing time on special teams. He was unable to practice Wednesday but got limited work on Thursday and Friday.

S Kyle Dugger (Ankle)

Dugger was downgraded last week due to his ankle injury and missed after playing the last several weeks. He also missed Week 5.

G Michael Jordan (Ankle)

OT Vederian Lowe (Ankle/Shoulder)

LB Sione Takitaki (Knee)

All three played last week with their respective injuries and have been dealing with these injuries for the last several weeks.

QB Drake Maye (Concussion)

Maye suffered a concussion in the second quarter shortly after scoring his first career rushing touchdown. His concussion was the result of a helmet-to-helmet hit from behind. Reports indicated that he was throwing on the sideline and felt good, but he was officially placed in the concussion protocol due to doctor’s findings.

He was limited all week and is officially questionable heading into Sunday. Typically a player needs a full practice in order to be cleared to play. There have been instances of players getting a limited practice in and then getting cleared, but we will get an update on Saturday as to the specifics.

ACTIVE

DT Daniel Ekuale (Abdomen)

RB Antonio Gibson (Toe)

CB Jonathan Jones (Ankle)

S Marte Mapu (Neck)

G Layden Robinson (Ankle)

DE Keion White (Knee)

LB Jahlani Tavai (Back)

Many of these players have been on the injury report over the last several weeks with their respective injuries. Jones was on the injury report last week for his shoulder, now he is dealing with an ankle issue.

Robinson and Ekuale both missed last week with their respective injuries. Gibson continues to work through a toe injury that appears to crop up every season for him at different points.

WR Ja’Lynn Polk (Concussion)

After missing last week’s contest due to a concussion in Week 7, Polk was able to practice in full on Thursday and Friday, clearing from the protocol.

INJURED RESERVE

CB Alex Austin (Ankle)

Austin was originally placed on injured reserve dating back to September 28 and opened his practice window to return. He will need to be activated to the roster in order to play Sunday.
