AFC East Injury Preview: Week 11

Week 11 in the AFC East kicks off with a Sunday slate of games. The New York Jets host the Indianapolis Colts and the New England Patriots host the Los Angeles Rams. This is followed up by the Miami Dolphins host the Las Vegas Raiders with a finale of the Buffalo Bills hosting the Kansas City Chiefs.

Read below for injury updates around the division.

Miami Dolphins

OUT

CB Kendall Fuller (Concussion)

Fuller has been ruled out after suffering his second concussion of the season and considering week-to-week. He suffered his first concussion back in Week 3 and may miss extended time. 

QUESTIONABLE

OT Terron Armstead (Knee)

OL Robert Jones (Left Knee)

FB Alec Ingold (Calf)

Ingold missed last week due to a calf injury he aggravated in the Week 9 game against the Buffalo Bills. Armstead has had a long history of knee issues but has generally played through them. Jones aggravated a left knee injury that he I tends on playing through. 

ACTIVE

TE Julian Hill (Shoulder)

CB Jalen Ramsey (Knee)

WR Odell Beckham Jr (Knee)

LB Tyus Bowser (Knee/Calf)

S Jevon Holland (Left Hand/Knee)

S Kader Kohou (Knee)

CB Jalen Ramsey (Knee)

Ramsey and Beckham were added to the injury report Thursday with their respective knee injuries but had no designation.

WR Tyreek Hill (Left Wrist)

Hill confirmed that his left wrist is the issue after he noted that it was injured on Monday Night Football. What the exact specifics are isn’t clear, but he did have a right wrist injury coming into the season. He’s also discussed putting off surgery at this time.

INJURED RESERVE

S Patrick McMorris (Right Calf)

OL Isaiah Wynn (Knee/Quad)

McMorris is still ramping up on injured reserve after suffering a right calf injury during the preseason. Wynn opened his practice window after suffering what I believe was a quad tendon tear last season. 

New York Jets

DL Jake Hanson (Hamstring)

Hanson will miss his second consecutive game after suffering a hamstring injury in Week 9.

LB CJ Mosley (Neck)

Mosley will miss his second consecutive game after suffering a neck injury in warmups in Week 8. Reports came out that he has a herniated disc in his neck. 

OT Tyron Smith (Neck)

Smith will miss his first game of the season after popping up on the injury report with a neck issue. He does have a history of neck issues dating back to his time with the Dallas Cowboys.

WR Davante Adams (Wrist/Illness)

Adams is officially questionable after missing Wednesday and Thursday with a wrist injury and illness but was able to practice in full. 

DT Solomon Thomas (Knee)

Solomon missed last week with a knee injury originally suffered in Week 9. 

ACTIVE

CB Michael Carter (Back)

CB Brandin Echols (Concussion)

OT Morgan Moses (Left Knee)

CB DJ Reed (Hip)

LB Chazz Surratt (Heel)

OL Alijah Vera-Tucker (Ankle)

S Chuck Clark (Ankle)

QB Aaron Rodgers (Knee/Hamstring)

Everyone on the list other than Reed, Echols, and Clark have been on the injury report for several weeks now. All do not have a designation. 

New England Patriots

QUESTIONABLE

DT Christian Barmore (Blood Clots)

Barmore returned to practice this week after being diagnosed with blood clots. He was unable to practice Friday and not expected to be activated yet back to the roster. 

Update:

S Kyle Dugger (Ankle)

Dugger has been working through an ankle injury dating back to Week 5. He has missed the last three weeks. 

DE Deitrich Wise Jr. (Foot)

DT Daniel Ekuale (Ankle)

LB Christian Elliss (Abdomen)

OT Verdarin Lowe (Shoulder)

S Marte Mapu (Neck)

LB Sione Takitaki (Knee)

CB Alex Austin (Ankle)

Everyone noted above is questionable and have been dealing with their respective injuries for several weeks now and able to play last week.

CB Marcellas Dial (Concussion)

TE Hunter Henry (Foot)
