AFC East Injury Preview: Week 13

The NFL regular season is hitting December with the final stretch of regular season games for the AFC East. The Miami Dolphins play the Green Bay Packers on Thanksgiving while the New England Patriots host the Indianapolis Colts, the New York Jets host the Seattle Seahawks, and finally, the Buffalo Bills host the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday Night Football.

Miami Dolphins | New England Patriots | New York Jets | Buffalo Bills

Miami Dolphins

OUT

LB Tyus Bowser (Knee/Calf)

Bowser has been dealing with a knee injury dating back to when he signed with the Dolphins in Week 5. He suffered a calf injury back in Week 11. However, he appeared to have a setback and was unable to practice all week, downgraded to out. 

LB Kendall Fuller (Concussion)

Fuller is set to miss his third consecutive game after suffering his second concussion in Week 10 and unable to practice all week. 

LB Anthony Walker (Hamstring)

Walker suffered a hamstring injury at some point during the win over the Patriots on Sunday and it was expected that he would miss Week 12 but not anticipated that this is a long-term injury.

QUESTIONABLE

OT Terron Armstead (Knee)

Armstead originally suffered a knee injury back in Week 8 but has not missed any games despite not practicing. Despite not practicing all week with the exception of a Wednesday limited practice, he is still questionable and may play. 

ACTIVE

WR Tyreek Hill (Wrist)

Hill continues to work through his left wrist injury due to a torn wrist ligament that was aggravated during the traffic stop back in September. He has not missed time other than practice during the week. 

FB Alec Ingold (Calf)

Ingold missed two games after suffering a calf injury prior to the Week 9 matchup against the Buffalo Bills. He was able to return to play last week. 

DT Benito Jones (Shoulder)

Jones picked up a shoulder injury in Week 11 but has not missed any time due to the injury. 

CB Jalen Ramsey (Knees)

Ramsey has been on the injury report since Week 10 but appeared to injure his other knee this past Sunday. 

OL Isaiah Wynn (Quad/Knee)

Wynn is still working his way back from a quadriceps tendon tear last season but was activated from PUP on Monday.

TE Julian Hill (Shoulder)

Hill has been dealing with a shoulder injury dating back to Week 8, forcing him to miss Week 9. 

S Jevon Holland (Left Hand/Knee)

Holland suffered a broken left hand back in Week 5 and a knee injury in Week 8. He missed one game due to the hand and has played since then.

OL Robert Jones (Knee/Groin)

Jones continues to play through a knee injury suffered in Week 10 and a groin injury in Week 11, not missing any snaps.

S Patrick McMorris (Right Calf)

McMorris was activated on Tuesday after working his way back from a right calf injury suffered in the second preseason game.

New England Patriots

DE Deatrich Wise (Foot)

Every player has been dealing with their respective injuries for the last several weeks with the exception of Douglas who was a new addition to the injury report with an ankle injury. He was limited all week. Elliss has been on the injury report with an abdomen issue and now a knee issue. Peppers was activated back to the roster this week after his suspension. 

ACTIVE

DT Christian Barmore (Blood Clots)

DT Daniel Ekuale (Elbow)

CB Christian Gonzalez (Hip)

S Marte Mapu (Neck)

DE Keion White (Knee)

All have been dealing with their respective injuries for some time now and have been able to play through their injuries. Gonzalez picked up a hip injury in practice before Week 12 but played.

INJURED RESERVE

OL Cole Strange (Left Knee)

Strange continues to work back during his 21-day practice window following his left patellar tendon tear last season. He appears on track to be activated after Week 14.

New York Jets

OUT

OT Tyron Smith (Neck)

Smith will miss his second consecutive game after missing Week 11 and having the bye to rehab. 

QUESTIONABLE

S Chuck Clark (Shin)

Clark popped up on the injury report on Friday with a shin injury and was limited.

RB Breece Hall (Knee)

Hall missed practice Wednesday with a knee injury but increased his workload daily and appears to be on track to play Sunday. 

OL Jake Hanson (Hamstring)

Hanson appears to be on track to return since he suffered a hamstring injury dating back to Week 9, which kept him out of the last two games.

LB CJ Mosley (Neck)

Mosley is still working through a disc herniation in his neck after suffering the injury in warmups in Week 8 and has not been able to participate in a game since Week 7.

OL Xavier Newman (Concussion)

Newman picked up a concussion in Week 11 and had the bye to recover along with two full practices this week indicating that he will play. 

WR Malachi Corley (Illness)

OT Morgan Moses (Left Knee)

DB DJ Reed (Back)

OL Alijah Vera-Tucker (Ankle)

AVT has been working through a high-ankle sprain, Moses is dealing with a fracture in his knee along with an MCL sprain, and Reed was on the injury report in Week 11 due to a hip injury.

Buffalo Bills
