Injury Analysis: Buffalo Bills DT Marcus Harris

The Buffalo Bills made a move Friday signing DT Marcus Harris to a one-year contract. The corresponding move was that the Bills released priority free agent DT Devin Brandt-Epps.

Harris comes to Buffalo after participating in rookie minicamp last month on a tryout basis. He comes to Buffalo after several stops in college and in the NFL, trying to find a steady home.

Buffalo Bills Injury Analysis

This was surprisingly difficult to find any information on. Several undisclosed injuries were all that I could find along with an autographed picture on eBay that showed him wearing a right knee brace from an unknown game.

Even once he got to the NFL, there were no reportable injuries coming out of training camp last August during his time with the Texans. Fortunately, Harris has no concerns injury wise coming to Buffalo. He can only hope that his injury luck continues as he battles for a roster spot during training camp. He was talented enough to be drafted and stick on practice squads, hopefully he can step his game up to make the roster.

He’s a long shot on Buffalo’s defensive line but all it takes is several injuries and opportunities to showcase his talents, then things could change. His talent ultimately will dictate his level of success.

I would like to welcome Marcus Harris to Buffalo and to remain healthy this season.
