Injury Analysis: Buffalo Bills WR Mac Dalena

Injury Analysis: Buffalo Bills WR Mac Dalena

Looking to churn the bottom of the roster, the Buffalo Bills signed WR Mac Dalena on June 1 and released CB Daryl Porter Jr.

The former Fresno State First Team All Mountain West selection has bounced around the NFL since entering the league in 2025 but has not seen any time in a regular season NFL game.

Buffalo Bills Injury Analysis

There aren’t any reported injuries for Dalena that I could find at Fresno State or during his time on NFL practice squads. No evidence of knee or shoulder braces, tape, or anything that would suggest an injury. As for the NFL, unless he was on the practice squad injured reserve, he wouldn’t have any of his injuries reported on. Looking at the beat reporters X, I can’t even find any instances of trainers tending to him either.

Health won’t be an issue for Dalena and based on this tweet I found from five years ago, Dalena has the athletic ability and drive to make his case as a wide receiver.

In the NFL, everyone is good. But if Dalena can keep his streak of staying healthy intact and find a role on special teams, he can stick around. Three NFL teams have determined that he’s rosterable, hopefully he can take that next step in year 2 to stick around in some capacity.

I’d like to welcome Mac Dalena to Buffalo and to remain healthy this season.
