The Buffalo Bills have proven that you can never have enough offensive line talent, drafting G Ar’maj Reed-Adams with their last pick in the seventh round.
Reed-Adams comes to Buffalo after spending the last two seasons at Texas A&M where he earned second team All American and second team All SEC honors. He appeared in 57 games with 39 starts mostly at guard with several at tackle.
Showing versatility and starting experience explained why the Bills wanted to draft him despite suffering several injuries at Texas A&M.

Buffalo Bills Injury Analysis
Reed-Adams missed only one game in his collegiate career which is impressive when you consider all the reps he took at different spots on the line. He suffered two undisclosed injuries that fortunately did not cost him time or he had a well-timed bye to recover from the issue.
The only notable injury is his labrum team which is often seen in offensive lineman. This is something that many players rehab, brace up, and play through until the end of the season. Some also never get it fixed if the shoulder is stable enough.

Reed-Adams had a strong 2025 season which supported that there is no decline in return to performance. There is anywhere from a 13 to 26 percent chance of re-tearing the labrum following repair. There is also a 58 percent chance of future instability within the shoulder in the future, but considering the frequency that offensive lineman suffer a torn labrum, this isn’t necessarily a concern. The biggest issue is missed time should he suffer a new injury and future arthritis. Recurrent instability is in the mid-20 percent, but far less (50 percent) than if he didn’t have surgery. This is also an injury he could play through after some rehab and bracing if it does occur again.
Final Thoughts
This is the sixth year in a row that the Bills have selected an offensive lineman in the draft and fourth time multiple lineman have been selected in the same draft since 2018. The team clearly values developmental talent with versatility.
Reed-Adams doesn’t have a surefire shot to make the roster but if he can learn the offense and stay healthy, he could make the 53 or at worst, practice squad as he adjusts to the NFL. The injury concerns are minimal and with his skill set, you can’t hate the pick.
I’d like to welcome Am’arj Reed-Adams to Buffalo and to remain healthy this season.
