Creating a competition at punter, the Buffalo Bills selected Florida P Tommy Doman Jr. in the seventh round.
Doman comes to Buffalo after punting for the Florida Gators in 2025. Prior to that, he spent 2022-2024 with the Michigan Wolverines, earning third team All Big Ten honors in 2024 and a National Championship in 2023.

Buffalo Bills Injury Analysis
Nearly all special teams players have minimal to no injury history and this is no different. Doman has one job and he’s done pretty well at two different colleges. Most of the time, if these guys do have injuries, they are lower body soft tissue injuries such as calf, hamstring, groin, or quadriceps.
Doman is far healthier as well after playing at Michigan than his predecessor, Brad Robbins who had a cup of coffee with the Bills last season. Robbins had herniated his lumbar disc squatting while at Michigan early in his career but rebounded to be drafted in the sixth round in 2023.
Doman brings a lot of talent to the roster and will be great competition for Mitch Wishnowsky. There is a financial benefit for Doman to make the team but at the end of the day, the Bills need the best player possible punting and holding. He has a strong chance to make this roster with a great training camp.
I’d like to welcome Tommy Doman Jr. to Buffalo and to remain healthy this season.
