Injury Analysis: Buffalo Bills CB Kader Kohou

Injury Analysis: Buffalo Bills CB Kader Kohou

Needing to fill out the practice squad depth, the Buffalo Bills signed CB Kader Kohou on Thursday, November 5. This practice squad position was created when CB Te’Cory Couch was signed to the active roster before Week 8. Kohou comes to Buffalo after starting his career in Miami as a UDFA for three seasons.

Kohou comes to Buffalo looking to restart his career after dealing with an injury that cost him all of 2025.

Read below for a full injury history and analysis.

Buffalo Bills Injury Analysis

Kohou came into the league as a UDFA and had an immediate impact, starting 38 games over 3 years and playing in 47 games total. His career has been derailed by his right ACL tear, which he suffered in training camp last year. This injury happened in July, and he was released at the end of the season. He signed with the Kansas City Chiefs in March as he continued to rehab before the final cuts and later signed to the practice squad.

Given he’s coming off a torn ACL, I am not expecting much from him while he is with the Bills. Signing to the practice squad, he can learn the defense and acclimate to the team, with the hopes that he is up to speed later in the season. With his starting experience, he’s a fine addition to the practice squad, and despite last year’s ACL tear, I have minimal concerns about his availability moving forward, as he missed only 4 games in three seasons.

I’d like to welcome Kader Kohou to Buffalo and to remain healthy this season.
