The Buffalo Bills made several additions to their practice squad on Thursday, adding CB Jalen Kimber and DE Andre Jones and releasing CB Daequan Hardy.
Both come to Buffalo with varying levels of NFL experience but fill a need depth wise for their respective positions.

Buffalo Bills Injury Analysis
Looking at both of their injury histories, Jones is clearly the healthier player and has more NFL experience. That being said, he also has a tougher path to the roster given the depth at that position. He has played a lot of special teams snaps especially in 2023, but he is a steady addition in the event of injury.
As for Kimber, he has had several more injuries but nothing overly concerning. His labrum repair was nearly four years ago and the right decision to get it repaired at the time. There is a chance for re-injury, but no more of a concern than someone without a previous tear.
His broken hand is of no concern and his left knee injury in the playoffs doesn’t appear to be notable as he was able to participate at the Penn State Pro Day.
Overall, there aren’t really any concerns for two young players on a practice squad contract. This gives the Bills an opportunity to develop some talent but not commit to them.
I would like to welcome Jalen Kimber and Andre Jones to Buffalo and to remain healthy this season.
